Voice-over-IP Upgrades to Occur April 17-21

Telecommunications will perform Voice-over-IP (VoIP) system upgrades to improve operations and maintenance. The scheduled maintenance will occur at the following times:

• Tuesday, April 17, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, April 18, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
• Thursday, April 19, 6:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.
• Saturday, April 21, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  

Customers should see minimal impact to service during these times, because the VoIP system is fully redundant with primary and secondary systems for each upgraded component. The only possible issue may occur when placing a call during the exact time the switchover from the primary to secondary system takes place (Note: the switchover happens in a matter of seconds).
