Updated Communication Allowances

Allowance rates for monthly communication and equipment reimbursements have been updated on A&M System Regulation 25.99.09, Cellular Communication Devices and Services (policies.tamus.edu/25-99-09.pdf). Texas A&M University is in the process of updating its Standard Administrative Procedure (SAP) to align with the A&M System’s new regulation. A monthly communication allowance provides a salary supplement for operating a communication device or service to an employee whose job duties necessitate using the device (based on a business need as determined by the department head).
