A "Yes" in the column below each Calling Access ("Local," for example) shows that the Calling Scope described in the first column permits that type of call. For example: "AR S1" Calling Scope permits dialing of Local, National Long Distance, International, 900, Toll Operator Assisted, Directory Assistance, and Toll Free (800/888/877) number calls. "AR 16" Calling Scope permits only Local, Operator, and Toll Free calls. Other calling scopes not listed here are also available. If you have questions about which Calling Scope to request, call Telecommunications at 979.845.1020.
Special Note: To block 1010XXX "dial around" long distance access and avoid unauthorized long distance use, specify "AR 10-Deny" calling scope when you order service. Calling scope is identical to AR 10, except that long distance calls using 1010XXX carrier codes cannot be place from or billed to that number.
