Requesting NotifyLink
Note: Ask your departmental system administrator to read the NotifyLink Requirements for System Administrators document and have the server ready prior to submitting a work order.
- Obtain a Telecommunications Cell Phone Work Order.
- If you already have an existing cell phone account with your department, fill out the following fields, and fax or deliver the work order to the Telecommunications Department.
- Requesting Department
- Service Request Coordinator
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Centrex Account Number
- Mail Stop
- Type of Work Requested: check "Other"
- Cell Number
- Service Provider
- Cell Phone User
- NotifyLink: check "Add"
- Notes: enter "NotifyLink" and the model of phone. If device is a BlackBerry, include the eight-digit BlackBerry PIN number.
- If you do not have an existing cell phone account with your department or you would like to move a private account to your department, please fill out all fields appropriate to your request. In the Notes field, add "NotifyLink" and the model of phone. Once complete, fax or deliver the Work Order to the Telecommunications Department.
A representative from Telecommunications will contact the number on the work order to provide additional instructions for activating the account.
